Rik Smits (links)Averaging about 5 more PPG than last season (a 25% jump) with a minutes increase of only about 10% - even after jumping up over 3 ppg last year AND despite the Hawks adding two guys that take a lot of shots in Johnny Newman and Reggie Williams. Rebounding is up from 7.4 to 9.3 (a 25% jump). Made the All-Star team in the East despite playing the same position as Robinson, 'Zo, Olajuwon, Ewing, and Divac.

Cedric Ceballos (links)Averaging about 6 more PPG than last season (a 46% jump) with a minutes increase of only about 11% - even after jumping up over 3 ppg last year AND despite the Lakers having an alpha scorer in KJ. Rebounding is up from 4.2 to 7.2 (a 71% jump). Made the All-Star team in the West despite having talent in the conference unlike the East. Credit to wig for the format

Gugliotta may be another candidate. PER up by 4.8. PPG is also up 4.8 points in only an extra 1.6 minutes a game.

Gugs as the Most Improved via the game! Love it!

82 82 33.9 18.3 2.6 6.5 3.0 2.2 1.33 1.4 0.7 2.7 .476 .745 .167
82 82 33.3 13.8 2.2 6.5 2.6 2.1 1.21 1.0 0.5 3.0 .472 .781 .318
As disjointed as it looks, those are Gugs #'s from the rookie campaign to year 2. Major jump in points per game, increase in assists and blocks as well as an extra rebound per game too.

Shawn Kemp went from just being the MVP to being MVP and DPOY. That kind of improvement don't happen often. Also improved his rebounding numbers.
