Nominate, pimp out, spread the word about who you think deserves MIP award for 1992-93.
Voting begins Monday post-sim!

As I am ever year, I am dependent on people pimping their player in this field. Once I get a few names, I'll take a closer look. Otherwise, I'll give the computer player the nod.
You guys know your players better than anyone. Let the league know who you think made the biggest jump that wasn't minutes related. Haha

Since nobody else is putting much in here, I'll nominate Rik Smits. Bumped his scoring average from 15.9 ppg to 19.1 ppg in less than one additional minute per game over last season... and played on a team where five other players averaged double digits in scoring, so it's not like he was the only scoring option.

Might as well give it a shot here.
Stanley Roberts.
18.9 to 26.4 minutes
7 to 11 points
4.3 to 6.2 reb
FT% up 6.6%
PER 14.0 to 16.2
TS% .535 to .544
PPS 1.28 to 1.32
RR 12.6 to 13.1
EWA 2.6 to 6.1
D.eff 105.4 down to 99.4
Not huge increases, but understand this is from going against backups to playing with the starters most of this season. Was never a scoring option. Basically developed from a backup to a decent starting C.

This time - The computers got it right. Brian Shaw. Always a starter. He was just a better one this year. True Shooting percentage .516 to .548. That's HUGE. Not a fan of advanced metrics? How about: 4.6 more points than last season, 2.3 more rebounds, and 33 points of shooting percentage. How about 22 double doubles and a triple double? All career highs.
He also became the leader of a young and terrible team after Larry Bird left while playing passable defense.
What else you gotta know?
