Nominate, pimp out, spread the word about who you think deserves MIP award for 1991-92. Voting begins Thursday post-sim (through EOD 1/2)!

In terms of making an impact, I'd probably vote for Glen Rice as he did the most for a team not alot of people expected to make the post season. Close second I'd say would probably be Joe Dumars even with decreased 3pt %.

I don't follow enough teams, but Chuck Person increased in every stat including Shooting Percentage and PPG.

Most Improved player in my mind would be a player who improved drastically from last year, either through an expanded role or just through same minutes/improved stats.
At least how I'm going to evaluate MIP

At least how I'm going to evaluate MIP I agree 100%. Those choices nick put up to me don't even remotely qualify, both BARELY increasing any stat and some stats going down

The way I voted for this category was a guy that most improved his teams chances from the Eastern Conference that basically put the team on his back himself and tried to give them a chance night in and night out to win and Glen Rice showed that improvement to me and Joe Dumars did improve statistically enough to qualify in just about every category minus 3pt. %. But we see things differently, That's all. I mean, the Knicks had David Robinson and was the MVP for a reason for doing everything he could to get the Knicks to be the 2nd best team in the conference and had guys like Legler and Starks helping him out. Glen Rice WAS the Orlando Magic and improved his club from missing the playoffs last year to getting them a mid seed.

Yeah I think Manning has a real strong case, made All League Third and All Defensive First Team.

Mike Adams... MPG only increased by 3ppg, Scoring up by 4ppg (slight dip in FG% tho due to increased shots), higher 3P% (6% up), assists up 1.5apg without an drastic increase in TOs... #5 in assists and #4 in steals... OVERALL in NBA. Big improvement, IMO

Ron Harper shouild get looked at.
Season LGE TEAM G GS MIN PTS ORB DRB AST TO A/T STL BLK PF FG% FT% 3P%
1991 PBSL NJN 82 82 36.8 21.4 1.7 4.7 4.9 2.6 1.89 1.8 0.8 2.7 .463 .778 .317 1990 PBSL NJN 82 82 35.3 16.6 1.9 4.4 4.3 2.6 1.67 1.6 0.7 2.9 .423 .733 .271
Mins raised by just 1.5 a game but averages almost 5 more points raising rebs, assist-turnover, FG%, FT% & 3P%
