Yeah, I have a few more I want to lock up but the Negotiator must be busy doing business with other GM's.

Make sure he doesn't go for broke on the craps tables or by betting that the cops that beat Rodney King all go to jail.

Ask ALL questions pertaining to in-season negotiations here. Do other players try to negotiate later or do all the ones for the season come in at once?

I have a couple questions regarding the in-season negotiations when a trade is involved: 1) If a player negotiating with his team is traded (and the original team has either declined or not yet accepted), can the new team sign him to the same offer? 2) If a player is not negotiating with his team, is it possible that he would be willing to re-sign with his new team, or is it automatic that he will become a free agent at end of season? 3) If a team has already accepted the player's offer, and the player is then traded, does the new team assume the new contract?

I have a couple questions regarding the in-season negotiations when a trade is involved: 1) If a player negotiating with his team is traded (and the original team has either declined or not yet accepted), can the new team sign him to the same offer? There is no actual "Decline" button I hit. Meaning the offer is there for a while. Only if the offer is accepted is it a done deal. So if Team A declines and then trades that guy, Team B CAN accept that same offer. But if Team A accepts the offer then that contract is finalized immediately and goes wherever the player goes.2) If a player is not negotiating with his team, is it possible that he would be willing to re-sign with his new team, or is it automatic that he will become a free agent at end of season? NO, if he doesn't offer the old team he won't offer the new one. He will test FA3) If a team has already accepted the player's offer, and the player is then traded, does the new team assume the new contract? YESGreat questions man. If this didn't answer them fully please ask again and I'll clarify.
