Thanks to all those who have participated in this year's voting; we had 22 GMs participate in award voting this season! The following GMs can claim 4 points in their banks for participation:
Darth 78 J2 Bow rr Conroy Eazy Quail Nick Pauly Tray aburns logpmess rpf Soundwave Inner GI Wig prej kucoach NOLa ColtsGuy JNR
And to the awards....!
Most Improved Player: 4th place... Derek Strong (21)! Tie for 2nd place... Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Terry Mills (26)! 1st place... Zydrunas Ilgauskas (102)!
6th Man of the Year: 4th place... Hubert Davis (25)! 3rd place... Sam Cassell (27)! 2nd place... Cliff Robinson (28)! 1st place... Rex Chapman (52)! Congrats to Rex and aburns211!
GM of the Year: NOLa. won this award by a landslide (100 pts); however, since he has stepped down as the GM of the Sacramento Kings, it was decided that the award shall go to the next highest vote (which was actually a landslide as well). 4th place... I don't know if that's how this should go. Tani quit so those points should stay with the active GMOY.

Just feels a little weird to me.

Just feels a little weird to me. It really matters very little, but the votes were due before first playoff sim for the regular season, which I was a GM at the time. If I had briefly left before they were due I could understand but when they were in and could be counted I was submitting DCs for the playoffs. Plus Derg conceded the point.

I conceded the points as a GM, not as the commissioner. He won in a landslide. It was his award and my asterisk. I would've done this for anyone (assuming they brought it up haha)
