3/3 - Raptors @ Sonics (-3.5) While the Sonics have been struggling, they're playing a Raptors team trying to set up for the long haul and get to play them at home. The Sonics feature defensive first team SG in Doug Christie who's primary duty will be to hound Michael Finely, one of the Raptors only scoring options. Christie doesn't shut Finley down completely, but makes him inefficient in this one. I don't think it's a close one.
3/4 - Nets @ Hornets (-2.5) I'll take the Hornets here, but only because they're home and are only pretty much giving up a shot. The Nets have been a tough team to track, recently winning 5 in a row, and losing 4 in a row (sounds familiar Laker fans).
3/5 - Nuggets @ T-Wolves (-6.5) The Nuggets are missing one of their better scorers and wing defenders in Nick Anderson. The T Wolves have, for the second year made a big trade to help bolster their lineup. I think Hill Jordan and Houston do damage here and win this one.
3/8 - Knicks @ Celtics (-7.5) Celts know the division, and more importantly the #1 seed is up for grabs vs the Knicks, which makes this game as important as a regular season game as the Celtics have had in 3 years. I expect D Rob and Zo to net themselves out, and where the Knicks don't have much besides Reggie Miller, the Celtics have plenty waiting to step up and win.
3/9 - Grizz @ Rockets (-7.5) Both teams have been pathetic lately, but the Grizz are away and have lost most their away games by an average of 21 points and have not been within 7.5 in any of them.
3/11 - Pacers (-8.5) @ Cavs Big shit poppin, little shit stoppin'; although KG is billed as the Big ticket, the Steve Nash injury really takes a lot of the Cavs sail. Aug will have a field day on McCarty who is possibly the worst rebounding 3 in the league. Grats on your player of the week Aug.
3/13 - Mavs (-10.5) @ Lakers Although I think the game will be close, I think the Lakers cover here. Last time the Mavs came to LA, the Lakers lost by 3 and hadn't added much depth via trades.

3/3 - Raptors @ Sonics (-3.5) - Sonics have slowed down, but they're still playing at home against a struggling team. Got to go with them. 3/4 - Nets @ Hornets (-2.5) - I think the Nets can eek out a win on the road. I think they beat the spread, but barely. 3/5 - Nuggets @ T-Wolves (-6.5) - I have to pick me. Not necessarily because I think I will win, but because I really, really, really want to win. 3/8 - Knicks @ Celtics (-7.5) - The Celtics are in the tightest division race I've seen in a while. They'll have to step their game up, but I think they can do it. 3/9 - Grizz @ Rockets (-7.5) - Rockets continue to struggle, the Grizz get one on them, and LoCo continues to spoil by beating division rivals he shouldn't beat. 3/11 - Pacers (-8.5) @ Cavs - The Pacers have a GM. The Cavs don't. So... 3/13 - Mavs (-10.5) @ Lakers - I think the Lakers lose, but cover. That's a lot of points to give up.

3/3 - Raptors @ Sonics (-3.5) - This is the game that gets Christopher Gatling going in Seattle or it gets him going OUT of Seattle. 3/4 - Nets @ Hornets (-2.5) - Those streaky Nets are at it again. I think they will start another win streak against the Hornets, sorry Gugs 3/5 - Nuggets @ T-Wolves (-6.5) - It's time for the T-Wolves to get hot again late in the season and I feel they will win the game but not cover 3/8 - Knicks @ Celtics (-7.5) - Celtics are at home....'nuff said 3/9 - Grizz @ Rockets (-7.5) - Rockets are in a tail spin and the Grizzlies never started spinning. I think Shaq realizes that Houston has 99 problems but he ain't one 3/11 - Pacers (-8.5) @ Cavs - 8.5 is a lot of points to give up on the road but I believe the Pacers will cover that and then some 3/13 - Mavs (-10.5) @ Lakers - Who would have thought at the point in the season the Nets would have a better record than the Lakers?

Games: 3/3 - Raptors @ Sonics (-3.5) = Seattle. So the Sonics have regressed a little bit after their torrid stretch to start the year winning 9 of their first 10 games. They've also lost 6 in a row but losing to some quality teams like the Warriors and Knicks. I think they'll have an easier time against the Raptors squad that is clearly aiming for a top 5 pick. 3/4 - Nets @ Hornets (-2.5) = Hornets. Oddly enough, 2 straight games against the Nets and 3 in this sim alone. Damn, might as well just strategize against Shimmy Walker and Isiah Rider. If my team wants to be taken as a serious contender for the playoffs, I have to beat the Nets. I think that can be accomplished. I have faith that my squad in the Hive can get it done. Away, probably not so much. 3/5 - Nuggets @ T-Wolves (-6.5) = Denver. Back to back games. Sounds just like my team just with alot more wins. I miss Mookie But the Wolves were on a 10 game winning streak before loosing to GMOY and those youngins in San Antonio. Call me crazy but I think the Nuggets win and cover. I really liked their acquisition of Causewell and while the Wolves may have C-Web, I like the depth of the front court of Denver more than the shooters of Minnesota. 3/8 - Knicks @ Celtics (-7.5) = Boston. Knicks were crushed in Boston and Boston has rediscovered who they were after that little slump to begin the new year allowing the Knicks to claim 1st even if it was only for a second. I think Zo dominates and with Mitch, he outshoots Reggie. 3/9 - Grizz @ Rockets (-7.5) = Rockets. They still have Shaq and still wanna make a push for that playoff series as an 8th seed I guess. The Grizz have Hubert. Shaq > Hubie. 3/11 - Pacers (-8.5) @ Cavs = Cavs. Even with their record, the Cavs have 18 wins total and 11 of them have come in Cleveland. I don't think the Cavs win but the Cavs play close enough to cover. The Pacers are due for that second half collapse any day now right? 3/13 - Mavs (-10.5) @ Lakers = Lakers. Dennis Scott is under a month away! That's major news right? Well, the Mavs are pretty much obliterating everyone and anyone this season but the last time they played against the Lakers in LA, they only won by 3. Call me crazy but the team of Jones & Johnson lawfirm should play a close enough game with the Mavs.
