Pick'em Panel Rules
1. All games have a point spread. If you don't know how that works, ask me or go here for an explanation.
2. There is NO Wild-card (as that was a freebie anyway). And there will be 7 games to pick per week.
3. Claim your one media point after your picks are in - but if you don't write up at least a couple of lines on your analysis of the game or reasons for picking, you personally get no points, but your picks will count.
4. You will be able to participate a max of 3 times throughout the season, and if not everyone in your division participates your division can't win.
5. I will assign pickers and send a message out to those selected. If you are the picker can't do it, find a sub. Please confirm you're taking your spot in a PM to me something like "Pick'em, I got it" is just fine.
6. All the members of the division with the most right picks at the end of the season will be claiming 5 points. The player with the best pick percentage (minimum 2 sims of picking) will get an additional 3 points.
7. Picks are due by 5pm on Sim Day. Late picks will not be accepted (unless I fuck up getting the pick'em out there in a reasonable amount of time.)
8. Have fun! #PositivityFriday

11/25 - Heat (-4.5) @ Clippers - Mess Brother revenge! Oh wait, GP doesn't GM that team anymore. Oh well. I'll take the Heat and give the points. 11/25 - Lakers (-4.5) @ Bucks - Scott's Lakers always find a way to mess up games that people think they should win, especially on the road. Give me the Bucks and points. 11/28 - Mavs (-6.5) @ Sonics - He struggled a bit, but this team is still a force with Penny killing it. I think the Sonics lose but cover the spread, barely. 11/29 - T-Wolves (-7.5) @ Grizzlies - ARE THE WOLVES THE WORST ROAD TEAM IN SIM LEAGUE HISTORY? I THINK SO! 11/29 - Nets @ Nuggets (-7.5) - Nuggets continue to play strong, and the Nets continue to look back on fonder days... 11/30 - Hawks @ Bulls (No spread, pick'em) - Gotta go Bulls because they're at home 12/1 - Knicks (-8.5) @ Nets - I think the Knicks continue to struggle, and the Nets get a blowout win at home.

Heat(-4.5) @ Clippers - Heat pummeled them at home earlier in the season. But I'd like to think that was aberration. Clippers are at home now and I've made some changes to the gameplan. Plus, I can't pick against myself, right?
Lakers (-4.5) @ Bucks - Lakers have a tough task going on the road for the second half of a back to back. The solid Bucks defense triumphs over the powerful Laker offense.
Mavs (-6.5) @ Sonics - Rematch from their meeting on the 16th where the Mavs snuck out with a 1 point win. I expect another close game, so I'll take points.
T-Wolves (-7.5) @ Grizzlies - Webber has been solid this season for the Wolves, averaging a double-double. I expect his success to continue against the struggling Grizz. I think the Wolves will cover.
Nets @ Nuggets (-7.5) - Nets have played well since an 0-4 start. Nuggets are missing the services of Terry Dehere. I'll take the road dogs to keep it close and maybe even steal a win.
Hawks @ Bulls (pick'em) - Both teams have struggled so far this season. I'll take the home team in a matchup that is tough to separate.
Knicks (-8.5) @ Nets - So Reggie Miller and John Starks are on the same team? (Sorry, I havent been here a while.) With David Robinson in the post and a few good shooters around him, I think the Knicks can cover despite giving a lot of points.

Heat (-4.5) @ Clippers - After a hot start to the season, I fully expect the Heat to bounce back from their last sim and outplay the Clippers as they did a few weeks earlier. No offense to the Clippers, but that bottom five offense and defense ain't gonna cut it against Jim and Gary.
Lakers (-4.5) @ Bucks - In a matchup where one of the league's top offenses faces a top defense, I see the Bucks taking revenge on their preseason loss and snagging a win at home. The PG battle should be an interesting one.
Mavs (-6.5) @ Sonics - The Mavs are finishing out a four game road stretch in Seattle where the home team has been solid with a 4-2 record. Sonics beat the spread and take this one as the Mavs prepare to rest up for a small home stretch.
T-Wolves (-7.5) @ Grizzlies - Twolves all day baby. The Webber vs. Gatling matchup should prove to be an interesting one, but Webber's dominance continues as the Twolves roll through the Grizz despite Robert Pack being on IR.
Nets @ Nuggets (-7.5) - The Nuggets high octane offense led by the solid PF play of Johnson and Smith beat the spread and hand the Nets a loss on the road. The Nets just can't take enough shots to keep up with this new and improved Nuggets.
Hawks @ Bulls (No spread, pick'em) - This division rivalry seems to have calmed down as both teams continue to struggle this season, but I expect the strong play of Darrel Armstrong to cause real problems for the Hawks giving the home team the win.
Knicks (-8.5) @ Nets - KNICKS KNICKS KNICKS. I may be slightly biased. Although the Knicks struggled over their last sim, Reggie Miller and David Robinson finally form the powerhouse two headed monster that we've all been waiting to see and take down the Nets on the road.

Games: 11/25 - Heat (-4.5) @ Clippers The Heat will come out hot in this game. I fully expect them to give the Clippers defense trouble.
11/25 - Lakers (-4.5) @ Bucks Lakers have started slow by their standards, but they should have enough fire power to cover this spread.
11/28 - Mavs (-6.5) @ Sonics While the Sonics are playing well it won't be enough to slow down the rolling Mavericks.
11/29 - T-Wolves (-7.5) @ Grizzlies MJ puts the team on his shoulders and handily takes down the Grizz
11/29 - Nets @ Nuggets (-7.5) Tough choice here, but the additions in the offseason make me a believer in these Nuggets.
11/30 - Hawks @ Bulls (No spread, pick'em) Tough game to choose. Hawks defense is stifling but had to go with the home team.
12/1 - Knicks (-8.5) @ Nets Knicks should win this by double digits
