1996-7 Tri-Weekly Pick'Em Panel - Sim 1 and Rules

Pick'em Panel Rules     

1. All games have a point spread.

2. There is NO Wild-card (as that was a freebie anyway). And there will be 7 games per week.

3. Claim your one media point after your picks are in - but if you don't write up at least a couple of lines, you get no points.

4. You will be able to participate a max of 3 times throughout the season, and if not everyone in your division participates your division can't win.

5. I will assign pickers. If you are the picker can't do it, find a sub. Please confirm you're taking your spot in a PM to me something like "Pick'em, I got it" is just fine.

6. All the members of the division with the most right picks at the end of the season will be claiming 5 points. The player with the best pick percentage (minimum 2 sims of picking) will get an additional 3 points.

7. Picks are due by 5pm on Sim Day. Late picks will not be accepted (unless I fuck up getting the pick'em out there.

10/29 - Clips @ T-Wolves - Timberwolves put together a complete full roster last season, but Clips have one of the most talented starting 5's in the league. When in doubt, take the point. I'll grab Clippers +9.5

10/29 - Magic -10.5 @ Raptors
- Raptors sold everything, but it's hard to cover a spread on the road. Taking the points again Raptors +10.5


10/30 - Nets -1.5 @ Wizards
- This is a real crap-shoot. I'll take the Wiz-kids as home-dogs. Wizards +1.5


10/31 - Spurs @ Mavericks -4.5
- Mavs are the real-deal. So are the Spurs. Tempted to grab the points, but I'll take Chad after the dick-sucking contest we had for him earlier. Mavs -4.5

11/4 - Mavericks -21.5 @ Jazz
- This is my favorite line of the pick'em. I'm giving the points. I don't give a shit. Mavs -21.5

11/5 - Nuggets @ Lakers -9.5
- Nuggets are vastly improved. Lakers lost a ton of depth. I hate this line, and I made it. Grabbing the points. Nuggets +9.5

11/8 - Hornets @ Celtics -8.5 - The hornets are a bit deeper, but less talented than last year. Celtics have a lot of both. I'll give the points and maybe this line should be higher. Celtics -8.5
