12/24 Raptors @ 76ers Talent-wise, the Raptors and Sixers are about equal, and both are currently on a hot streak (Toronto's won 8 of their last 10, Philly's won their last 3). Toronto's proven to be streaky, but they seem to have mastered the art of winning on the road. I expect the Sixers to put up a good fight, but fail to seal the deal in the end.
12/27 Supersonics @ Celtics The Celtics have rebounded quickly after their slow start, winning 9 of their last 10. Unfortunately, they'll be without Derrick Coleman for this game, which gives this upstart Seattle squad a shot. I really like this Seattle team, as they've gelled very quickly. If they were at home, I'd pick them for the upset, but in the Garden, the two-time champions reign supreme.
12/29 Lakers @ Heat One of the most perimeter-oriented games you'll see all season, both teams are defined by their thin frontcourts and loaded backcourts. Both have also found their stride as of late, as they're both 7-3 over their last 10. Even though Miami's at home, I have to take LA here, as they simply have too much offensive firepower to stop. Gary Payton can't guard everyone.
12/30 Wizards @ Spurs Both teams need to get it in gear soon, but for different reasons. The Wizards are currently 3rd in a cutthroat division with 3 legitimate threats behind them, and the Spurs need to put something together or risk fading out of the race for 8th entirely. The Wizards aren't a great road team, but I'll go with them here, as it remains to be seen how Tim Legler will perform with the Spurs.
1/2 Pacers @ Clippers Stacey Augmon has once again put the Pacers in the playoff picture, but the Pacers' weak bigs won't be much help against Terry Mills and the Dream at home. I don't expect Latrell Sprewell to have a big game, but the interior toughness of the Clippers will prove to be too much for Indiana.
1/5 Mavericks @ Magic No Kidd, no win, simple as that. The Magic have a fearsome squad when everyone's healthy, but their complete and utter lack of depth shows when they don't have all of their starting 5 available. Mavs win.
Wildcard: 1/4 Suns @ Nuggets In this episode of Everybody Wants Kobe, lazy-ass Damon Stoudamire travels to Denver to get high and lower his potential even more. Meanwhile, Joe Smith sabotages newcomer Rick Fox's incoming flight, delaying him so that Smith can pad his stats even more to stay in the running for ROY. While all this is happening, Terry Porter, Michael Adams, and Larry Bird are sitting in a bar, reminiscing about the good old days, back when they were all Blue/Blue. Somehow, they all make it to the game, and the Nuggets win, which means the Suns lose, which means that the Suns get a better chance of drafting Kobe, which means that they won even though they didn't win...whatever. I'm done.

Since nobody else from the Central posted, and it's just a couple of minutes before the 5 pm deadline, here's mine - if someone else wants it they can have it. Short explanations due to time crunch.
12/24 Raptors @ 76ers => RAPTORS. Screw you, Soundwave.
12/27 Supersonics @ Celtics => CELTICS. The Celtics are elite and at home.
12/29 Lakers @ Heat => LAKERS. Heat don't have the ability to deal with the Laker frontcourt.
12/30 Wizards @ Spurs => WIZARDS. Spurs are trying to find themselves, Wizards already have.
1/2 Pacers @ Clippers => CLIPPERS. Pacers are steadier, but Clips are at home.
1/5 Mavericks @ Magic => MAVERICKS. No Kidd, no chance.
WILDCARD: 12/28 Suns @ Mavericks => MAVERICKS. Because if I get this wrong, I get the joy of a Darth meltdown. Win-win!

12/24 Raptors @ 76ers - Raptors don't do a whole lot of things great, but they don't turn the ball over, they cause turnovers, and they win on the road. Philly has a three game winning streak but I like the Raptors in this one.
12/27 Supersonics @ Celtics - Celtics are too strong at home against an average road team like the Sonics.
12/29 Lakers @ Heat - The Heat are finally turning things around with a 4 game winning streak while the Lakers have won 5 in a row themselves and just added Loy Vaught for more depth. I like the Lakers.
12/30 Wizards @ Spurs - Wizards are playing well overall while the Spurs have suffered from a road heavy schedule. Defense carries well on the road. Going with the Wizards.
1/2 Pacers @ Clippers - These two teams don't really like each other. Both are having strong seasons, but the Clippers are powerhouses in the rundown LA Sports Arena. Go with Clippers.
1/5 Mavericks @ Magic - Mavericks are dominating right now and the Magic are struggling without Jason Kidd. Don't see how the Mavs lose this one.
Wild Card
12/24 - Timberwolves at Knicks - The Knicks are so good right now and TWolves aren't. Both teams were early contender favorites, but only one of them is delivering. Knicks should win.
