PF Derek Strong
He's turned into a solid starting 4 in the league with his great rebounding. This year he was thrust into a starting role and has thrived. He's only played in 9 more minutes per game than last season but his stats are solid.
Last Year: 23 Minutes / 8 Points / 6 Rebounds / 50% FG / 15.7 PER This Year: 32 Minutes / 14 Points / 9 Rebounds / 56% FG / 18.9 PER
Dont know much about anyone elses' candidates but I think Derek deserves a mention.

Ceballos made the leap again this year.
18.7 ppg to 23.3 and FG% went up doing it so it wasn't volume. 7.4 Rebounds per game PPS has shot up to 1.50 EWA up from 14 to 19. All this in only 1.5 more mpg.

While our season as a whole hasn't been roses and daisies, we have had one nice bright spot on our team.
Mike Iuzzolino:
1994 PBSL MIL 77 35 30.6mpg 13.6ppg 0.5 2.6 3.7 2.2 1.71 1.0TOpg 0.1 2.5 .430 FG% .817 .418 3P% (on 5 attempts/game) 1993 PBSL MIL 82 63 30.6mpg 9.5ppg 0.6 2.4 4.8 2.3 2.09TOpg 0.9 0.1 2.4 .380 FG% .819 .353 3P% (on 3 attempts/game)
1994 PBSL MIL .564 TS% 1.25 PPS 20.8 12.2 21.2 2.2 10.5DRR 6.5RR 16.4PER 207.9 6.9EWA 1993 PBSL MIL .480 TS% 1.05 PPS 28.4 13.6 18.1 2.1 8.7DRR 5.3RR 11.6PER 20.8 0.7EWA
He's not blowing up the stat sheet, but each and every year he's progressed and gotten better. His #s jumped despite his minutes remaining the same. Is he the most improved player? That's for you to decide, but he's Milwaukee's MIP.

Just a reminder on voting rules here as well...
•Most Improved Player: you will vote for 3 options, clearly labelled #1, #2, and #3. The #1 option will receive 5pts, #2 option will receive 3pts, and #3 option will receive 1pt. The player with the most points in the end wins the award.
•Please remember to vote for who deserves this award and be as unbiased as possible. To ensure this, you are allowed to vote for your own player/yourself, but only as a #2 or #3 option.

Mike Iuzollino hands down for me. He's playing out of position and improved in almost every area while averaging the same minutes as last season. I also like Derk Strong and (Glen Rice not Bryan Stith; brain fart); Ceballos would get my vote if he wasn't already a potential superstar in the making. Mike built his way from the ground on up into a pretty productive player.
