Below is similar to the two previous SOS's I have released, except with on huge difference. Rather than focus on the games played, I look to the remaining schedule and impending division races, and I give you the Strength of each teams remaining schedule. As we have discussed before, teams play too similar of a schedule for S.O.S. to really mean anything in the NBA. With each team having about a quarter of the schedule remaining, I ran the formula on those 21-25 games and the results tell you who has the toughest schedule remaining. I have only focused on the division races today with the slightly altered Division Standings table. On it you will see record and games back, but also the number of home and away games left and the RSOS (Remaining Strength of Schedule.) After next sim, I'll bring in an altered Playoff Standings table to give you a chance to analyze the races for those final playoff spots. Enjoy! Updated with the Final Playoff Spot Race and Elimination Number:

I'd say I like your chances to get the most ping pong balls with the Timberwolves having the fourth easiest remaining schedule to your hardest remaining schedule.

I'd say I like your chances to get the most ping pong balls with the Timberwolves having the fourth easiest remaining schedule to your hardest remaining schedule. I'll be doing everything on my power to let that not happen. If I have the best odds I'm almost guaranteed to get screwed based on past evidence.

I'd say the Heat are your biggest challengers there based on SOS. Sonics have the second easiest schedule so you and the Heat should end 1&2.

Sweet, got an easy ride the rest of the way for the most part. With that 6.5 game lead, could be tough to get caught. I you stay as dominant at home as you have been, the division title should be yours at least. Maybe Pacers/Bucks/Pistons will just beat up on each other and get you the 1-seed

With a 2 game lead and an easier schedule?? I think you are the highest guy he could catch. 2 game lead isn't that big and his schedule isn't that much harder. Nets, Knicks, Bulls seem easy if he keeps playing like he is.

If I lose them both, I don't think I get the one seed.

They are the last three games you have against the three of us at the top of the Central.

Even though my chances are slim to none of making it to the playoffs, I will say that playing a majority of my games at home could play the role of spoiler to some teams. Just sayin'

Important to note that Mavericks, Blazers, and Sonics have officially been eliminated from their division title races.
More to come, including playoff races.
