The tie fighters, x-wings, and millennium falcon flying close to the surface make for a few potentially incredible scenes.

Anybody else think that lightsaber is entirely too dangerous even for a Sith Lord?

Anybody else think that lightsaber is entirely too dangerous even for a Sith Lord? It bothered me a bit. Looks too thin and really unstable. Maybe that was on purpose though.

The whole crossguard/unstable look is so badass It looks badass, just questioning the functionality of the cross guard. I can see the guy accidentally stabbing himself in the head in the first act of the movie and the trilogy being ended then. Jedi hero being like, mmmmmk.

I mean i suspended belief for the idea that a dual bladed lightsaber wasnt that dangerous to wield for the user, dont see any reason to stop now

I can see this in the outakes...LMAO...like oh shit I just killed myself. I am very curious to see him wield that and how his form is. I really don't see that saber using any of the common combat styles. Maybe Vaapad which was what Mace used a lot but it'll be very interesting to see his fighting style.

What if, since theres no sith at this time, this guy has to start from scratch, building his own style and saber? Would account for the thinness and instability

LOL But yeah that may be why it looks like that. Made it from scratch, not very good at it..lol I need backstory though. If they have rendered the EU dead then give me some back story! So impatient I am. But taking a step back the saber does look pretty badass.

I have watched it three times and IGN's 10 minute Rewind breakdown of it. I love everything about what I am seeing in this teaser. Thank You. I have learned today that Star Wars fans are miserable and impossible to please.

So, you don't think a cross guard is a good idea when every big time sith and jedi had a hand cut off?

I have learned today that Star Wars fans are miserable and impossible to please. You gotta admit though Star Wars is a weird thing where you have TONS of backstory and EU that had George Lucas' blessing and then all the sudden it's like none of that existed. I literally have over a hundred EU novels. But at the end of the day you have to step back and be able to enjoy it for what it is. I still remember how all these "fans" destroyed the prequels and picked them apart and still to this day will say they were awful. I think that is just crazy, sure you can pick at them but I think they were amazing and these next three will be too.

Han and Leia daughter will not be named Jaina in the movie like it should be and is in the EU. That's why it'll be tough because that's what I know. I have to forget all that stuff while watching these movies in order to enjoy them.

When they 3D'd Phantom Menace last year, I saw it again after just watching IV-VI with my wife the months leading up to it. I have to admit, there is a lot of good shit in that movie. I think people kill it mainly because of Jar Jar Binks. If he didn't exist, the fans may not have killed it as much. I loved Episode III sooooooo much it makes the prequels worth it to me.

I thought people killed it between jar jar and mitoclorians. It was also the last time Anakin wasn't a pussy whipped bitch.

Doesn't matter what your split is (50-50, 40-60), if you eliminate jar jar Binks you eliminate most of the "problem." Anakin was better in that movie than in II.

We live in a world where Marvel and DC sells their stories 'because alternate universe' for everything.

I don't know if y'all go out to eat a lot, but I just had lunch at bobby Hebert's restaurant on vets. It was pretty bad. Terrible service. Mediocre food. And well overpriced. I definitely don't recommend it.
