So I'll be working on league shit for most of the night after the game.
To-do list: 1. Finalize details for draft: draft type, draft pick limits, contract details. 2. Make changes to draft file that balls updated and SIM seasons IF that's what the league decided. If not I'll just make the changes and update the index with new changes. 3. Record and release the order of the draft. 4. Fill out the rest of the forum with rules and other important things.

I'd rather not do test Sims. I think we should trust the files a bit. That and your changes should be fine. I don't want test Sims determining draft order, and they probably would. What we decide on draft type? Typical snake or new snake method? As far as pick limits go I'd like to not have a limit on the first round but I do want lists. I would like lists from everyone. It's a simple thing to make lists. Will make the draft go by a lot quicker and smoother. We're gonna have guys who work all day and can't make their pick like all day. I understand but there is no reason why we should have to wait 12 hours for someone to make their pick. Lists solve all of that. If we say no time limit for the first round we still need some kind of limit to make people know they don't have all damn day and take their good ol time just because they can. The contract stuff...has anyone willed on a plan or scale for that? I'll do it if not. It'll be easy. TOUCHDOWN!!!

It sucks making a list longer than 8-10 long. Just slsp a 4 hour time limetvon the first few rounds, if you miss the 4 hour window you get skipped but you can pick anytime you show up after the 4 hours.

Thing is that when people get skipped for their first pick there is a high rate for quitting and inactivity.

Sooner or later we have to move forward and take the winner of the polls as what they are. #1 Seems decided as draft type. Time, i dont think saying unlimited is an option but 6 hours seems like a fair compromise. And i think we want salary by draft position. If that's not something the game can offer I can come up with an algorithm. #2 All on you big dawg #3 Can be done not pending 1 or 2; probably want to do this sooner rather than later. #4 Nola. get to work bro!

I personally don't think we'll have much of a problem with inactive people here. At least judging from pr sim league. I think just make sure people don't take excessive time, make lists, and we'll be fine.

Also, who knows the rule for teams that are both over the cap limit and how they trade. Isn't it 10% or 15% within the range of salary that can be traded?

Looks great so far. I'll be looking over everything real good soon once all the main stuff is out the way.
So let me explain something. I did a bit already but I want to make sure this makes sense. When I click "start Creation Draft" it goes into the draft screen. It has already set an order. There is a button that says "Randomize" at the bottom. I can click it 1000 times if I want to and it'll give me a new order everytime. So this is the idea I had. Someone gives me a number. That number is the number of times I click the randomize button. It will be recorded so I will open the game go into the creation draft screen and then click the Randomize button that many times and whatever the order is on the last click is the final order. Does that sound legit? Any better ideas or is that fine?
Also when it's done ya'll want a selection show of some type? I'll make a thread and post a pick starting with 29 every minute or just post the list and video all at the same time?

Just click it the number of total points the saints scored and post the the video if you want. It's a draft order, not sure anyone's going to get into it with you esp with the new snake type that was decided.
