Look, up in the sky, it's a bird. No, it's a plane. No, it's just Kemp Greetings mortals, I'm here today to show you the true power of some of the greatest beings that SLOE has ever witnessed. These are our heroes. This is our Justice League. So get ready for action because shortly I will be revealing the most inhuman feats mankind could ever dream of. I have begun by charting every player's advanced stats. I will now list the best of the best. Please be seated, the results have been known to make grown men faint and get some GM's moist in their Super Friends tighty whiteys. To separate the gods from the mere mortals I will be filtering out players who average less than 15 minutes per game. Enough formalities, Justice League ATTACK! Let us start off with the one stat everyone is dying to see, PER. This is the question that that many wanted answers to. Who are the most efficient players in the league? Well, here they are......... Shawn Kemp PF 38.5 Anfernee Hardaway PG Not OP 33.9 David Robinson C 33.6 Steve Smith SF 32.4 Stacey Augmon SF 30.7 Alonzo Mourning C 30.4 Shaquille O'Neal C 27.3 Tom Gugliotta PF 25.8 Kevin Johnson PG 25.8 Dennis Scott SF 25.6As you can see, Kemp is without a doubt the league Superman. A true god in his own universe. How can one being be so powerful? What is just as newsworthy to me, is the drop off from the top 6 to the rest of the league. We have a player like Gugs who is besting this year, but is still 5 whole points lower than Augmon. Since I know you want more, here are the next 10 Hakeem Olajuwon C 25.4 Jason Kidd PG 25.1 Latrell Sprewell SF 24.8 Cedric Ceballos SF 24.6 Glen Rice SG 24.5 Brad Daugherty C 24.3 Gary Payton PG 24.2 Chris Gatling PF 23.0 Dee Brown PG 22.3 Reggie Miller SF 22.1 And Webber is next. But this grouping is much more balanced. All of these guys are great players in their own rights, but none are truly Justice Leaguers. (*editor's note- Corliss Williamson leads the whole league with a PER of 46.8 in only 8 minutes of action this season.) Next up we will look at TS% Alonzo Mourning C 0.664 Shawn Kemp PF 0.658 Anfernee Hardaway PG 0.652 Derek Strong PF 0.635 Jason Kidd PG 0.630 Steve Smith SF 0.628 Mark Macon SG 0.626 Cedric Ceballos SF 0.622 Glen Rice SG 0.619 Dennis Scott SF 0.617OMG, Kemp doesn't lead in in a category. SHOCKING! But even more shocking to this guy is Jason Kidd ranking 5th in the league. Not bad for a guy who was never really known for light's out shooting. And speaking of PG's (which does not include Penny) let's look at AstR........
Rod Strickland PG 42.5 Mark Jackson PG 39.6 Pooh Richardson PG 39.5 Nick Van Exel PG 39.3 Jason Kidd PG 36.6 Gary Payton PG 34.9 Michael Williams PG 34.9 Mike Iuzzolino PG 34.2 Sherman Douglas PG 34.0 John Stockton PG 33.1
(*Eric Murdock 33.6 and Avery Johnson 33.2 just miss out on this list due to playing only 14.5 and 14.8 mpg respectively )

To continue, we will find the beast rebounders of the Justice League. RR Dennis Rodman PF 19.3 Shawn Kemp PF 18.4 Dale Davis C 18.3 Shaquille O'Neal C 18.0 Tom Gugliotta PF 17.6 Alonzo Mourning C 17.1 Shawn Bradley C 16.8 David Robinson C 16.1 Tyrone Hill C 16.0 Roy Tarpley PF 16.0
Only surprise here is that Rodman still is the best by far. And that Malone is nowhere to be seen. DRR Dennis Rodman PF 26.9 Dale Davis C 26.0 Shawn Kemp PF 25.0 Tom Gugliotta PF 24.7 Shaquille O'Neal C 24.3 Brad Daugherty C 24.0 Tyrone Hill C 23.6 Alonzo Mourning C 23.5 David Robinson C 22.6 Elden Campbell C 22.6 ORR Dennis Rodman PF 12.2 Shaquille O'Neal C 11.5 Shawn Bradley C 11.3 Dale Davis C 10.9 Rony Seikaly C 10.9 Cedric Ceballos SF 10.8 Adam Keefe PF 10.7 Tom Gugliotta PF 10.6 Pervis Ellison C 10.6

Now I will dicuss the stat that I believe has the biggest impact on the MVP race. EWA.I don't think there is any other stat that better encompasses a player's value to the success of his team. Shawn Kemp PF 27.5 David Robinson C 26.5 Anfernee Hardaway PG 22.8 Stacey Augmon SF 20.9 Alonzo Mourning C 19.1 Dennis Scott SF 17.1 Shaquille O'Neal C 16.7 Latrell Sprewell SF 16.2 Tom Gugliotta PF 16.1 Hakeem Olajuwon C 14.8I would like a discussion on this in the comments below. Am I right in thinking that this list is basically the MVP rankings? Let us discuss.

Well done, Sound. Love the pictures of the Legos, very nice touch.
I have a question about EWA and a predictor on who wins the MVP. Have you done the formula for seasons before and has the leader in EWA won the MVP? I think the MVPs in seasons past (in order) are MJ, D-Rob, and Shawn Kemp the last 3 seasons.
Also, Penny not OP.

Here we go, the moment I have feared since I began this article. I now give you the 1995/1996 SLOE Rogues gallery. Here are the top 10 worst players in ToR that play and average of 15 or more minutes. (A lot of players were filtered out due to playing less minutes. Manute Bol is the unfiltered leader of the Legion of Doom.) Rich King C 23.5 Ervin Johnson C 23.3 Richard Petruska C 22.1 Les Jepsen C 21.5 Eric Montross C 21.2 Jay Guidinger PF 20.8 Bison Dele C 19.8 Sharone Wright C 19.6 Oliver Miller PF 19.5 Bo Outlaw PF 19.3 I also want to add the lowest ToR in the league. Vernon Maxwell SG 5.6 Michael Jordan SG 7.4 Muggsy Bogues PG 7.8 John Stockton PG 8.0 Brent Barry SG 8.1 Tim Legler SF 8.1 Dennis Scott SF 8.2 Magic Johnson SF 8.4 Sherman Douglas PG 8.6 Gary Payton PG 8.7

Just looked at last season and Robinson finished with a 36.8 and Kemp with 36.6. Kemp wins MVP, so slightly off. Season before, Kemp was head and shoulders above everyone else posting a EWS of OVER 41. Won MVP.

Awesome article Sound. Let's name them
Kemp = Superman, his only kryptonite is his coach Zo = Hulk, he's a monster and has some normal 18/8 games then he gets angry and Ewing goes 1/15 in game 7. And of course he's Green. Stacey Augmon = Capt. America, just seems like he has speed and size Steve Smith = Green Arrow, for his precision and he's about to spend 5 yrs on an island honing his skills David Robinson = Batman, one of the best superheros but doesn't do whatever it takes to get the job done KJ = Flash, easy he's quick Shaq = Thor, big, strong, and probably not from this planet Penny = Ironman, very talented and gets the job done, overconfidence might be holding him back.
