I got the Midwest. Derg - I thought my trade activity would garner at least a chance of a pickem game.

1/7 Blazers @ Supersonics The Blazers are near unbeatable at home but very mediocre on the road. Just last sim, they lost to the lowly Suns on the road. The Sonics have been solid throughout. So give me the Sonics at home.
1/9 Spurs @ Grizzlies The Grizzlies won last time at home vs the Spurs. With Dale Davis out or less than 100%, give me the Grizzlies.
1/10 Knicks @ Celtics The Celtics have won 12 straight at home. The Knicks are good on the road, but not this good. Celtics.
1/14 Hornets @ Bucks The Hornets have been abysmal on the road this year, but it's not like the Bucks have been world beaters either. The Bucks are on a skid and just traded away Seikaly. I'll take the Hornets to win this one.
1/17 Lakers @ Rockets The Lakers get LJ back and he'll be fully healthy by this time. The Rockets have been underwhelming thus far. Thrown in the fact that the Lakers already beat the Rockets on the road, I think the Lakers will take this one.
1/19 Wizards @ Warriors The Wizards have been good this season, but they did just lose to the Cavs on the road. That's not a good thing if they're playing in Oakland this sim. Warriors.
WILD CARD: 1/12 Kings @ Warriors Warriors

1/7 Blazers @ Supersonics = Portland. Last 2 losses on the road have been by a combined 3 points. I like the size of Shawn Bradley and defensive acumen of Macon to neutralize Doug Christie. I think Mash will take the next step in his development to being an elite wing and shock Seattle in this game even with Seattle's home dominance.
1/9 Spurs @ Grizzlies = VanMemphis. Without a healthy Dale Davis, that's asking alot out of 'Sheed and Glen Robinson in the paint to battle the mighty Daughtry monster. While Tim Legler coming in will help the Spurs around the perimeter, I think Greg Anthony will have a good game and take out Mark Price. I think this will be a close one but I'll take the Home team more times than not.
1/10 Knicks @ Celtics = Celtics. While Robinson will get his, the Celtics own one of the best records at home in the entire league. Piatkowski being out will hurt the Knicks but if there's any team that can take down the Knicks in the east, I think Boston has the right ingredients to do it.
1/14 Hornets @ Bucks = Bucks. Reverse psychology. I picked myself last time and lost, With the Bucks dealing away Seikley, it was a smart move removing that salary for some strong spare parts. It's asking alot of Mutombo and Brian Grant to guard the Charlotte Twin Towers of Gugs and Ewing but with back to back games in Milwaukee, my team hasn't fared too well on the road this season though the last two road games against Atlanta and the Clippers gave me some encouragement. I'll be happy to be wrong if my team can pull through this critical stretch of road games against playoff teams like the Pacers and Heat and Bucks and Magic with some W's.
1/17 Lakers @ Rockets = Lakers. Can the Rockets figure out how the hell they are this bad defensively even with Shaq and Ron Harper? The Lakers don't hold much size in the front court but boast one of the best offenses in the entire league with D3 and KJ leading the way at 110 ppg. I'll take LA in a road win.
1/19 Wizards @ Warriors = Golden State. While Washington has seemed to play better on the road this year around while being historically awful away from the Nation's Capitol, I would have picked the Wizards if Duane Causewell was any type of offensive threat but he isn't. Kemp and Ceb is a nasty matchup for anyone to guard. I'll take GS with the route.
Wildcard 1/9 Cavs @ Minnesota = Timberwolves. the second of Jordan's 2 home games as a member of the Timberwolves shouldn't be any easier than this even though the Cavs have played better of late. Jordan dominates with a new team and the Wolves creep up the MidWorst standings.

1/7 Blazers @ Supersonics - I think the Blazers frontcourt proves too much on both sides of the floor and the glass.
1/9 Spurs @ Grizzlies - With a fully healthy team, I have no doubt the Spurs would take this. However, Davis' injury plus homecourt advantage for the Grizz - will prove too much to overcome.
1/10 Knicks @ Celtics - The Knicks struggle against teams with deep benches that can take over in the 4th quarter. That doesn't describe the Celtics at all...oh wait.
1/14 Hornets @ Bucks - Call me crazy, but I don't see this as a slam dunk for the Hornets. Sure the Bucks traded away some talent, but the folks left on their team certainly have enough of it left to compete in this league. If they gel, I think they can be competitive against any team - and I REALLY like the DC changes Derg made. I'm giving this narrowly to the Bucks.
1/17 Lakers @ Rockets - Last time these two met, the Lake Show blew them out at home. I don't see any reason why the Lakers don't come away with the same results.
1/19 Wizards @ Warriors - The Wiz kids are playing with borrowed time. A favorable (and home-heavy) schedule early on has them with a comparable record to the team from Oakland, but while they are an above average playoff team, I don't see them being elite enough to take down the Warriors at home.
WILDCARD
1/12 Lakers @ Bulls - Too much KJ...LJ...everyone in Purp and Gold brings this win home to LA for the Lakers
